PTmoms fall 2010

Come and gain encouragement and support from other moms as you learn how to have a positive impact on your family and home. We’ll enjoy practical speakers, play-dates and some Girls’ Nights Out!

We start on Thursday, September 9th in the Worship Center with Brenna Stull speaking on “Outer Space Offspring: Where Did These Kids Come From?” Check her out at brennastull.com. If you’ve already registered, your group leader will contact you this week. If you don’t hear from your group leader by this Friday, please email women@prestontrail.org. When you come into the Worship Center next Thursday, just look for the sign on top of the table with your leaders’ last names.

If you haven’t registered yet, you still can, but do it soon at prestontrail.org/ptmoms.

11/4: Minette Riordan–Heart-centered Parenting: How to Connect to Your Children by Listening to Their Feelings
minnetteriordan.com
This talk emphasizes the ways in which we shut down our children’s feelings without even realizing it, how to learn to listen more constructively and build the foundations of a relationship that will last a lifetime. From the time our children are born, we can help them understand how to express their feelings in ways that are appropriate. By creating a loving, safe environment for our children, they will learn to thrive as independent, happy children in any setting.

11/18: Moms Night Out–Bonnie Ruth’s: 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Join us for desserts and coffee!

12/2: Cara Martens–Leveraging the Holidays to Grow our Kids Spiritually with Practical Resources and Ideas
orangeleaders.com
Holidays can be stressful, even though they should be fun and meaningful. Walk away from this time with advice you can put into practice that will make this season one to remember.

12/11: Project Compassion at PTCC!

This is going to be an amazing fall! Please don’t hesitate to email or call me with any questions.

Can’t wait to see you!
